What are cookies
In order to improve the services we provide, our website uses cookies. Cookies are small files that store information in your browser and are commonly used to distinguish individual users. However, the user cannot be identified on the basis of this information.
Cookies therefore help, for example, to:
- ensure the correct functioning of our website so that the purchase process can be completed with as little difficulty as possible;
- remember the login details of our customers so they do not have to enter them every time;
- determine which pages and features visitors use most often, so we can best tailor our offering to your needs;
- help us determine which advertisements visitors view most often, so that the same advertisement is not shown repeatedly, or so that advertisements for goods they are not interested in are not shown.
Which cookies we use
The cookies used on our website can be divided into two basic types according to their durability. Short-term, so-called “session cookies”, which are only temporary and remain stored in your browser only until you close it, and long-term, so-called “persistent cookies”, which remain stored on your device much longer or until you manually delete them.
According to the function that individual cookies perform, cookies can be divided into:
- conversion cookies, which allow us to analyse the performance of various sales channels;
- tracking cookies, which, in combination with conversion cookies, help analyse the performance of various sales channels;
- remarketing cookies, which we use to personalise the content of advertisements and target them correctly;
- analytical cookies, which help us increase the usability of our website by understanding how users use it;
- essential cookies, which are important for the basic functionality of the website.
Some cookies may collect information that is subsequently used by third parties and that, for example, directly supports our advertising activities (so-called “third-party cookies”). However, you cannot be identified on the basis of this data.
